INSPEKT™ is an independent property inspection service operating in Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand. This policy explains how we handle your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

When you request an inspection or contact us, we may collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• The property address and details relevant to the inspection
• Real estate agent or property owner contact details you provide
• Payment details — card information is processed and stored securely by our payment provider (Stripe); we never see or store your full card number
• Any notes, photos or documents you share with us

We also count website visits anonymously to understand how the site is used — the page viewed, the general source (for example Google or a direct visit) and whether it was a phone or computer. This count stores no name, IP address or other personal information, and uses only a temporary random number that is cleared when you close the tab.

We use your information only to:

• Arrange and carry out your inspection, including coordinating access with agents or owners
• Process payment for your booking
• Deliver your report and communicate with you about your booking
• Meet our legal and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell your information or use it for third-party marketing.

We share information only where needed to deliver your service — for example with the property's listing agent or owner to arrange access, and with our payment provider to process your payment. Property information may be retrieved from public listing sources (such as homes.co.nz) to prepare your quote and report.

Your booking details and reports are stored securely and are not publicly accessible. Each client accesses their own booking through a private link, report documents are stored privately with time-limited download links, and only authorised INSPEKT™ staff can view client records.
